Home is Where the Heart Is:
In highschool you realize a lot of things. You realize who your real friends are, and who's there when life decides to play a mean joke on you. Of course, your friends are willing to help with things you need help with. But what happens when your not with your friends? Well, in my case it's my family. I've learned that over time you realize that home is really where the heart is. After a long day of school, I can come home and fall on the couch and sleep for hours. Sure this might not be the comfort your thinking of, but sleeping and eating are two of my many comforts. My parents (obviously being older) always have some of the best advice. Even though I might not like the advice, it really is something I look forward to listening to when I need it. Though my sister and i get in fights, she got through the highschool years just fine. She has more reasonable advice, other than the usual advice i get from my parents, "... just try to ignore it." What I'm trying to say is I'm so grateful for the family I have and I dont know what I'd do without them!

Anna, this was great! I agree with the part about family being so important, can't wait to read more
ReplyDeleteThat's so great that you have such a great relationship with your family. I have a brother and I can totally relate with the getting advice from your sibling thing. Sometimes your sibling just knows exactly what to say.
